Joseph Mithika Mwenda: African continent needs support in fighting climate crisis

Africa frequently experiences floods and droughts, and the continent needs financial support to save its people from the catastrophic consequences of climate change, Joseph Mithika Mwenda, Executive Director of the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance, told journalists on the sidelines of COP29.
According to Report, he expressed hope that the outcomes of COP29 would take into account the realities of people on the frontlines of the climate crisis, especially African residents who suffer the most from its consequences.
