Info session for Azerbaijani NGOs on Green Zone at COP29 held in Baku

The Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with the Azerbaijani COP29 Operational Company, has held an information session for NGOs about the Green Zone at COP29, Report informs.

The session was attended by Aygun Aliyeva, executive director of the Agency for State Support to NGOs and member of the COP29 Organizing Committee; Ayan Najaf, member of the Coordination Council of the COP29 Operational Company; Murad Novbarov, advisor to the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and member of the Program Committee of the Ministry of Ecology; as well as more than 50 representatives of Azerbaijani NGOs.

During the event, participants were informed about the opportunities available for NGOs within the COP29 Green Zone. The session organizers also answered questions from NGO representatives.
