ILO official: Implementation of Paris Agreement lagging

The implementation of the Paris Agreement is lagging, Mikhail Pushkin, Director of the ILO’s Technical Support Team for Decent Work in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, said at an international conference organized by the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation on September 26 in Baku, Report informs.
Pushkin emphasized the need to address climate change collectively, stating, “No country can overcome the current problems alone.”
He also noted that there are delays in the activities of trade unions.
