Food waste to be recycled at COP29

Food waste will be recycled in accordance with the format of the COP29 conference to be held in Baku, Anar Zeynalov, head of the Department of Catering, Cleaning and Waste Management for COP29, said in his statement to journalists, Report informs.
Zeynalov said that packaging, glass, and other waste will be sorted there:
"After this, it will be processed and handed over to relevant institutions. We will provide the fertilizers obtained from food waste through special equipment to the Baku Landscaping Service."
Zeynalov also said that more than 1,200 employees work there in total:
"All employees' health conditions have been checked and they have undergone medical examinations."
