Fatih Terim: Alliance initiatied by Qarabag may expand in coming years

The Alliance of Football Clubs for Climate Change, being created within COP29 on the initiative of the Qarabag Football Club, may expand in the coming years by including new participants, Fatih Terim, Turkish football specialist, former head coach of Galatasaray Football Club and the Turkish national team, told a COP29 event in Baku, Report informs.

"The fact that COP29 is being held in Azerbaijan, and Baku is hosting one of the world's largest events, is really a matter of pride for me and for everyone. A wonderful atmosphere has been created throughout the city to hold this event at the highest level," he said.

Terim said he is confident that this alliance, being created within COP29 with the joint support of Qarabag and the European Club Association, will become even stronger in the coming years with the participation of various clubs.
