Businessman Dan Ioschpe has been appointed the High-Level Climate Champion for COP30, Report informs, citing the COP30 official X page.
Chosen by Brazilian President Lula da Silva, Ioschpe will lead voluntary climate actions and the implementation of the Paris Agreement. He is a board member of WEG, Marcopolo, and Embraer.
COP30 will be held in Belem, Brazil, from November 10-21 this year.
