COP29 Youth Climate Champion says youth is the driving force of climate action

Youth is the driving force of climate action, and their role in fighting the crisis is fundamental and irreplaceable, COP29 Youth Climate Champion Leyla Hasanova said at an event titled "Communicating Climate Change through Education: The Crucial Role of Youth and Educators," according to Report.

"To realize this potential and truly empower our youth, ensuring their participation in climate decisions and actions, we must first prioritize climate education," she noted.

According to her, climate education should provide everyone with the necessary knowledge and skills to understand the climate crisis.
