COP29 visitors not required to get tested for coronavirus

Foreign citizens arriving in Azerbaijan to participate in the COP29 climate conference will not be required to get tested for coronavirus, the country's DeputyHealth Minister Nadir Zeynalov told Report.
Zeynalov noted that Azerbaijan follows International Health Regulations.
"Azerbaijan began to apply these regulations, adopted in 2005, during the COVID-19 pandemic. We took all necessary measures. In the future, if a pandemic is declared again, it will be easier to ensure safety," he said.
