COP29 president meets Kyrgyzstan's special rep for environment in Colombia

The president-designate of the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference (COP29), Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, during his visit to Colombia to participate in the sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) to the Convention on Biological Diversity, met with Kyrgyzstan's Special Representative for Environmental Affairs Dinara Amanturovna, Report informs.

"During COP16 Colombia, the COP29 President Designate held a key meeting with Kyrgyzstan’s Special Representative on Environment, Ms. Dinara Amanturovna. Strengthening ties for climate resilience across Central Asia remains a shared commitment," according to Azerbaijan COP29 page on X.
