COP29 President-designate Mukhtar Babayev met with John Podesta, the Senior Advisor to the US President for International Climate Policy, according to Report.
"COP29 President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev expressed his sympathy for the impacts of Hurricanes Helene and Milton in the United States, and both parties reiterated their commitment to a successful outcome at COP29," COP29 Presidency said on X.
