The logo of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) has been made public.
According to Report, the presentation was shown at the first press conference held at the headquarters of COP29.
It was reported that the logo, which reflects a set of multifaceted initiatives of the COP29 presidency, includes an appeal to the ecological sensitivity and the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan in the context of the importance of natural resources based on the synthesis of the symbols of a buta, a leaf, and water drops.
Rooted in the historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, the buta motif not only contains sustainability and innovation, but also bridges the gap between the past and the future. The combination of butas represents unity, and the butas in the form of illustrative water drops represent five different elements in themselves: flora and fauna, air and wind, water, energy, and the universe.
The logo of COP29 reflects the importance of the uninterrupted connection between humanity and the environment, environmentally sensitive behavior, and result-oriented action.
