COP29 lead negotiator, Azerbaijani ambassador meet with Belgian officials

COP29 Lead Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg and Head of the Mission to the EU Vaqif Sadiqov met with Belgian officials, the COP29 official X account said, Report informs.

“COP29 Lead Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg and Head of the Mission to the EU Vaqif Sadiqov held positive discussions with Luc Jacobs, Belgian Special Envoy for Climate and Environment, and Peter Wittoeck, Head of the Belgian delegation to UNFCCC,” reads the statement.

The details of the meeting haven’t been disclosed.
