On the sixth day of the COP29 climate conference in Baku, eco-activists held a large-scale silent protest.
According to Report, participants expressed their position without words: they formed the slogan "Pay up," demanding the fulfillment of financial commitments to combat climate change. Protesters also hummed a melody about the need to reduce fossil fuel use.
The activists aimed to draw attention to the need for funding climate initiatives, especially in support of developing countries that suffer the most from the consequences of the climate crisis.
The action became part of a global movement for climate justice, which unites participants from around the world.
