COP29 chief negotiator meets with Alliance of Small Island States delegates

Chief Negotiator of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) Yalchin Rafiyev has met with representatives of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS), Report informs.

"On the sidelines of the Pre-COP29 Chief Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev met today with the representatives of AOSIS. During the meeting held in line with the COP29 Presidency’s vision and action to ensure everyone's voices are heard and perspectives are considered, possible landing zones for successful outcome in November were discussed," according to COP29 page on X.
