COP29: Charles Michel calls for 'fair and inclusive transition'

European Council President Charles Michel has called for 'a fair and inclusive transition' amid the ongoing COP29 conference in Baku, according to Report.

"Our collective fight for the climate is existential. We must choose the survival instinct over collective suicide. And take action for a fair and inclusive transition," the politician said in a post on X.

He noted that the EU is up to the challenge.
