Climate resilience guidelines for human development have been adopted in Baku.
According to Report, the agreement was reached at a high-level joint session on the Baku Initiative for Human Development for Climate Resilience, which was held for the first time as part of the Human Development Theme Day at COP29.
The principles outlined in the document reflect a comprehensive approach to addressing climate impacts and particularly emphasize the importance of education.
The event was held under the chairmanship of COP29 in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Education, as well as international organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, Green Climate Fund, International Labour Organization (ILO), UNESCO, UNICEF, and WHO.
