Belgian embassy: Reps of 198 countries gathering in Baku to accelerate climate efforts

As of Monday, representatives of 198 countries, civil society, multilateral organizations and the private sector are gathering in Baku to accelerate the efforts on climate change, the Belgian Embassy in Azerbaijan said on X, Report informs.

“It’s COP29 time! As of Monday, representatives of 198 countries, civil society, multilateral organizations and the private sector are gathering in Baku to accelerate our efforts on climate change. Belgium will be represented at high level throughout the two weeks,” the embassy said.
