Baku, Bishkek sign protocol on implementation of memo in environmental protection

Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan signed a protocol of intent to implement a memorandum of cooperation in the field of environmental protection, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan.
The protocol was signed by Minister of Ecology of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev and Minister of Natural Resources of Kyrgyzstan Meder Mashiev on the sidelines of Pre-COP29 in Baku.
"The Azerbaijani side expressed gratitude to Kyrgyzstan for participating in Pre-COP29 and noted readiness for further fruitful cooperation. In turn, the Kyrgyz side thanked Mukhtar Babayev for the meeting and wished success in holding such a large-scale event as COP29," the ministry said.
