Azerbaijani NGOs present concept for solving problems within COP29 framework

Azerbaijan's NGO sector is presenting concepts for the formation of regional and global indices and problem-solving within the framework of COP29, Yegana Hajiyeva, the head of the Young Democrats Institute, said in her statement to journalists during an information session on the Green Zone at COP29 for Azerbaijani NGOs, Report informs.

At the event organized by the Agency for State Support to NGOs and the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company, Hajiyeva noted that the activities carried out have a significant role in the fight against global climate change:

"Regional and global players support Azerbaijan's new approach to climate change. Azerbaijan's NGO sector has formed a headquarters-type think tank. This think tank is working on the topic of 'what can we offer' regarding the planet's climate change issues."
