Azerbaijani envoy mulls COP29 with IOM head of mission in Norway

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Norway, Zaur Ahmadov, has discussed the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) with the head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) mission in this country, Fumiko Nagano, Report informs via the press service of the IOM mission in Norway.

"The head of our mission in Stockholm, Fumiko Nagano, visited the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Norway, Zaur Ahmadov. There was a productive discussion on cooperation regarding the IOM Voluntary Return and Reintegration, as well as COP29, which will be held in Baku," reads the mission's social media post.

The COP29 presidency and IOM organized a high-level round table in September on the interconnection between climate change, peace and human mobility.
