Azerbaijan to create special network of universities on climate change

A special network of universities on climate change will be created by November 2024, Azerbaijani MP, Vice-Rector of ADA University, Fariz Ismayilzada, said at the event " The Role of Higher Education in the Climate Transition: Towards an Azerbaijan University Network on Climate Change" organized within the framework of Baku Climate Action Week on Thursday, Report informs.
Ismayilzada noted that this is still in the proposal stage: "We have come to today's discussion with almost a blank sheet. As a result of the discussions, concrete steps towards creating the network could be determined by November."
