Azerbaijan to boost pensions and minimum wage in new social package

Azerbaijan is set to implement a new social package in the coming year, following the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Report, the package will encompass a rise in both the minimum wage and pensions, aiming to improve the living standards of Azerbaijani citizens.
Sahil Babayev, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, made the announcement on the sidelines of COP29. He emphasized that the necessary proposals have been prepared and are included in the state budget. The official announcement will be made once the state budget receives approval.
