Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science, Education prepares action plan for COP29

The Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan has developed an action plan for COP29, Deputy Minister Firudin Gurbanov said at the event titled “The Role of Higher Education in Climate Transitions,” held as part of Baku Climate Action Week on October 3, Report informs.

Gurbanov emphasized the need to foster environmental awareness in schools and universities. “Given the significant role of human capital in higher education, it is crucial to expand the trajectory of higher education in climate awareness,” he stated.
