Azerbaijan, IAEA ink Memorandum of Understanding on energy planning

A Memorandum of Understanding on energy planning within the framework of the Paris Agreement has been signed between Azerbaijan and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Report informs.
The document was signed within the framework of the COP29 in Baku.
The memorandum was signed by Energy Minister of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and IAEA Director Rafael Grossi.
The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in energy planning in the context of the Paris Agreement will support Azerbaijan's future steps in nuclear energy through joint research and projects with the IAEA and contribute to the diversification of the energy system.
