Azerbaijan and Brazil sign Memorandum of Understanding

Azerbaijan and Brazil signed a Memorandum of Understanding on climate partnership between Baku and Belem.
Report informs that the agreement was signed on the sidelines of the United Nations Preliminary Conference on Climate Change 2024 (Pre-COP29) in Baku.
The document was signed by COP29 Lead Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev and Brazilian Deputy Foreign Minister for Climate Issues André Corrêa do Lago.
The memorandum aims to develop cooperation between Azerbaijan, which will host COP29, and Brazil, the host of COP30, to promote global climate initiatives and foster sustainable development.
