Another rally by African environmental activists at COP29

Today, another protest by environmental activists from African countries took place in the Blue Zone of COP29, Report informs.

The protesters called for stopping the financing of fossil fuel extraction and military operations on the African continent, and redirecting funds toward renewable energy development.

The main demands of the activists were: "No decarbonization without decolonization" and "100% renewable energy for Africa now."
