Ambassador: Italy to be represented at COP29 in Baku at very high level

Italy will be represented at COP29 in Baku at a very high level, Italian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Luca Di Gianfrancesco told journalists, Report informs.

“We would like to congratulate the government of Azerbaijan for having undertaken the commitment to host such an important event. In general, Italy will be represented at COP29 at a very high level,” the diplomat said.

He clarified that Italy will be represented at COP29 by a high-ranking delegation.

The ambassador added that the agenda of the conference includes issues such as climate change, sustainability and other aspects that were raised in Dubai at COP28.
