Ali Asadov holds talks with Congo President at COP29 Summit in Baku

On November 12, Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov engaged in a conversation with the President of the Republic of Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso, during the opening ceremony of the World Leaders Climate Action Summit at COP29, held in Baku, Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

During the conversation, the official visit of the Congolese President to Azerbaijan in April 2024 was fondly recalled, along with the bilateral meeting that took place during that visit.

The sides explored potential areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Congo in various sectors of mutual interest.
