Russian billionaires see their wealth rise by $18.3B since early 2024

The richest Russian businessmen added $18.293 billion to their wealth in the first three months of 2024, Report informs with reference to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI).

The fortune of the co-founder of EuroChem and SUEK Andrei Melnichenko increased the most - by $5.29 billion, to $24.1 billion. The founder of USM Holdings, Alisher Usmanov, sustained the biggest losses with his fortune decreasing by $2.8 billion, to $18.3 billion.

The top 10 richest Russians from BBI include co-owner of Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin (since the beginning of the year, his fortune has increased by $768 million, to $31.8 billion); NLMK beneficiary Vladimir Lisin (+$2.91 billion, up to $26.9 billion); co-owner of NOVATEK Leonid Mikhelson (-$747 million, up to $26.7 billion); co-owner of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov (+$1.79 billion, up to $26.4 billion), etc.
