WB Regional Director: “I’m happy that we supported Azerbaijan’s development”

Baku. 6 March. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan has been rapidly developing over the past years and I congratulate you on this. I’m happy that we provided support to this development, the World Bank (WB) Regional Director for the South Caucasus Mercy Tembon said at the ‘Diversification of economy - High Level Forum on Role of Private sector’.

She said she is sure that Azerbaijan will continue to develop.

"If you remember, we earlier held a forum on human capital in Baku. This was not accidental. Because human capital is important for every country, including Azerbaijan," she said.
