Uzbekistan familiarizes itself with Azerbaijan's experience in taxation

Representatives of Uzbekistan's State Tax Committee have familiarized themselves with the work experience of the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan, Report informs via the Azerbaijani State Service.

According to the information, the head of Azerbaijan's State Tax Service Orkhan Nazarli met with a delegation led by the head of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan Firdavs Makhmudov.

The parties emphasized that Azerbaijani-Uzbek relations are at a high level, and the successful implementation of signed documents on developing cooperation between the countries makes a significant contribution to expanding bilateral economic ties.

During the meeting, several issues were discussed, including the experience applied in VAT administration in Azerbaijan and the achieved results.

It was noted that during the three-day visit, the guests will get detailed information about VAT administration, VAT deposit accounts, the VAT Refund project, and steps taken in legislation to regulate these issues.
