USAID successfully implements women’s entrepreneurship development projects in Azerbaijan

The projects of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the development of women’s entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan are very successful, Jay Singh, director of the USAID Mission to Azerbaijan, said at an event of the Association for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

He noted that 9 out of 10 women entrepreneurs they work with are successful. So, including during the pandemic, many women in Azerbaijan were able to earn a living thanks to such cooperation.

According to the mission director, USAID is ready to continue supporting Azerbaijan in the development of the country’s economy.

“Our cooperation with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) is at a very high level and we are grateful for that,” Singh said.
