US assistant secretary of commerce: Necessary to take trade co-op with Azerbaijan to new level

It is necessary to bring trade cooperation between the US and Azerbaijan to a new level, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Global Markets and Director General of the US and Foreign Commercial Service Arun Venkataraman told journalists, Report informs.

He noted that his visit to Baku is aimed at enhancing cooperation between the countries.

“We were able to return to the pre-pandemic level. There are areas in which we can further deepen our cooperation. These are the areas of agriculture, logistics and transport,” Venkataraman said.
