Turnover with new generation cash registers in Nakhchivan up over 10%

In January-February 2025, the turnover recorded by the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through new-generation cash registers amounted to 64.6 million manats (about $38 million), Report informs.

This is 10.1% more than in the same period last year.

The implementation of the VAT refund mechanism, an innovative project for the refund of a part of the VAT, is also successfully continuing in Nakhchivan.

So far, more than 2.5 million manats ($1.47 million) of VAT have been refunded to consumers in Nakhchivan within the framework of the VAT refund project. The amount refunded to consumers in January-February increased by 14% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 242,200 manats ($142,147).
