The United States and China are talking about removing Huawei from the black list of the US Department of Commerce, said US President Donald Trump.
Report informs with reference to RIA Novosti that during the press conference following the G20 summit, Trump said that he would allow American companies to sell their equipment to China's Huawei. Journalists asked Trump if this means that the Chinese company will be removed from the blacklist of the US Department of Commerce. “We are talking about this,” replied Trump. The US Department of Commerce in mid-May put Huawei on the “black list”, which blocks the way for the company to buy components and technologies from American manufacturers. Huawei is also on the list of companies that are prohibited from doing business with American companies without an appropriate license. The US administration accuses Huawei of collaborating with the military and intelligence services of the People's Republic of China and possibly spying on clients. The US is also convincing a number of countries not to use Huawei’s infrastructure and equipment when switching to the 5G cellular standard.
