Tokayev: Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan can bring trade volume to $1B

Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have a serious potential for increasing the volume of trade up to $1 billion, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said during the talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an expanded format, Report informs referring to Sputnik-Kazakhstan.

“The trade turnover grew by 40% and reached half a billion dollars. I think this is a significant result. I am sure that as our economic potential is fully developed, we will be able to bring this figure up to $1 billion. For this, we have serious reserves in such areas as energy, transport, logistics, IT, agriculture, industry and others,” Tokayev stated.
