Discussions were held with the East German Business Association within the framework of COP29 regarding the possibility of strengthening business partnerships and promoting joint activities in the renewable energy sector, Report informs.
Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov met with Michael Harms, Executive Director of the East German Business Association.
The parties emphasized the importance of today's high-level German-Azerbaijani business dialogue on Green Transformation held within COP29, jointly organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO and the East German Business Association.
Additionally, the meeting noted the development of cooperation between the two countries in industry, trade, investment attraction, and various economic spheres. They also discussed the activities of German companies in Azerbaijan, strengthening business partnerships, and opportunities for promoting joint activities in renewable energy.
Information about Azerbaijan's main initiatives within COP29 was presented at the meeting. Azerbaijan's contribution to global initiatives and implemented green projects received high appreciation.
The parties discussed the development of economic relations and the deepening of mutual business and trade ties.
