This year, nine companies were included in the register of unreliable suppliers in Azerbaijan, Mammad Abbasbayli, head of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan told the Supply Chain Leaders Summit, Report informs.
He said that these companies will not be able to participate in public procurement for 3 months to 3 years: "I want the blacklisted companies not to take this as a threat against them. On the contrary, they should eliminate the shortcomings of the period during which they will not be able to participate in procurement, let them take it as an opportunity to detect and correct defects."
