Silk Way West Airlines ended 2020 with profit

Silk Way West Airlines LLC ended 2020 with a net profit of 716.262 million manats ($421.58 million). However, the airline had a net loss of 113.871 million manats ($67.02 million) since 2019, Report informs, citing the company.

As of January 1, 2021, Silk Way West's assets amounted to over 1.735 billion manats ($1.02 billion), 13% more than a year earlier. During the reporting period, the company's liabilities decreased by 19% to 1.397 million manats ($822.72 million), while the balance capital increased by 77.4% to 337.49 million manats ($198.64 million).

Silk Way West Airlines was founded by Silk Way Airlines LLC in 2012. Its authorized capital is 172.09 million manats ($101.27 million). Both companies are part of Silk Way Holding LLC.
