Registration of real estate in Azerbaijan to take 1 day

As a result of reforms in the field of state registration of rights to real estate in Azerbaijan on a single window principle, the number of procedures has been reduced from four to one, and the time spent from seven to one day, Nigar Alimova, chairperson of the Board of the Public Legal Entity “State Cadastre and Real Estate Register” at the State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy, said at a conference on February 24, Report informs.

“The reform process focuses on the number of procedures, costs and method of payment, the procedure for obtaining documents and, finally, the time spent. The main goal in implementing the ‘one-stop shop’ principle was to minimize administrative procedures. Hence a significant reduction in both the number of procedures and the time spent on their implementation,” Alimova said.
