Pakistan-funded company to implement rice processing project in Karabakh

Azerbaijan Rice Processing Mill LLC, funded by Pakistan, has been granted resident status in the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park, which is managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy, Report informs, citing EZDA.

The company will implement a rice processing project in the industrial park. The company plans to process imported rice, sort it, and package rice products.

More than 30% of the park, which covers an area of 200 hectares, has been allocated for entrepreneurs' use. Currently, 2 enterprises are operating in the park.

Entrepreneurs in the industrial park have sold products and provided services worth 1.7 million manats ($1 million) so far. In addition, construction work is currently underway for more than 5 enterprises in the park.
