Number of taxpayers increases by 6% in Azerbaijan

As of December 1, 2022, Azerbaijan registered 1,399,990 taxpayers, 5.9% more than in December last year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

Of these, 87.4% were individuals, and 12.6% were legal entities and other organizations.

Over the past year, the number of individuals increased by 5.5% (80.7% of the total growth), while the number of legal entities went up by 9.4% (19.3% of the total growth).
