Number of taxpayers in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan increases

As of July 1, 2025, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan had 52,205 registered taxpayers, Fuad Najafli, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan, said on social media, Report informs.

Of the total, 2,832 are legal entities and 49,373 are individuals. Compared to the same period last year, the number of legal entities increased by 4.1%, while individual taxpayers rose by 3.5%.

“Overall, a stable growth trend in the number of taxpayers is observed compared to the corresponding period of last year. This growth reflects the expansion of entrepreneurship and economic activity in the region, as well as the effectiveness of work carried out to improve tax accounting,” Najafli said.
