Number of cars engaged in int'l transportation doubles in Azerbaijan

After the abolition of special permits for cars registered in foreign countries at checkpoints across the state border, the number of trucks participating in international transportation has more than doubled in Azerbaijan, said Kanan Gurbanov, Acting Secretary General of the Association of International Road Carriers of Azerbaijan (ABADA), Report informs.
According to him, two years ago the number of Azerbaijani cars involved in international transportation was 3,500-4,000, but now this figure has more than doubled.
