Number of active VAT payers in Azerbaijan surges by 9%

As of August 1, 2024, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 2.5% compared to the beginning of the year, bringing the total to 780,500, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

During the reporting period, the number of active VAT payers has reached 49,900, a 9.2% rise from the start of the year.

Additionally, the number of active economic subjects has grown to 209,100, reflecting a 2.2% increase compared to early 2024.
