Number of active VAT payers in Azerbaijan rises by over 5%

As of July 1, 2025, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 1.7% compared to the beginning of the year, bringing the total to 820,900, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

During the reporting period, the number of active value-added tax (VAT) payers has reached 55,600, a 5.2% rise from the start of the year.

Additionally, the number of active economic entities has grown to 226,100, reflecting a 4% increase compared to early 2025.
