Number of active taxpayers increases by 7%

As of January 1, 2023, the number of active taxpayers made up 711,900, up 7% from the previous year, Report informs referring to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

Of these, 39,900 people are value-added tax (VAT) payers, which is 13.2% more than January 1, 2022.

During the reporting period, the number of active objects (economic entities) increased by 12.3%, to 165,000.
