Number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan up by nearly 33%

As of October 1, 2024, the number of active taxpayers in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan increased by 32.6% compared to early 2024, reaching 20,553, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Economy Ministry.

Meanwhile, the number of active taxpayers in the autonomous republic, grew by 61.8% compared to early 2023.

During the reporting period, there was a 21.4% increase in the number of registered business entities, a 78.1% rise in VAT payers, a 73.3-fold increase in registered online cash registers, a 4.2-fold increase in active POS-terminals, and a 23.6% increase in active bank accounts.
