Number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan surges by over 40%

As of January 1, 2025, the number of active taxpayers in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan amounted to 21,778, marking a 40.5% increase year-on-year (YoY), Report informs, referring to the State Tax Service under the autonomous republic’s Ministry of Economy.

Over the past year, the number of active VAT payers in Nakhchivan rose by 28% reaching 548. As of January 1, 2025, the number of active business entities grew by 13.1% YoY to 6,025.
