Number of active taxpayers exceeds 768,000 in Azerbaijan

As of April 1, 2024, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 0.8% compared to the beginning of the year and reached 768,100 people, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the country’s Economy Ministry.

The number of active payers of value-added tax (VAT) increased by 3.9%, to 47,500 in January-March.

Over two months, the number of active business entities grew by 0.2% and reached 205,000.
